Engineering Summary
"Built from concept to active cloud deployment: Caarvn features sub-200ms REST APIs, real-time location-based ride discovery, BLoC state management, automated ride lifecycle schedulers, and zero double-booking race condition guarantees."

01 / Concept & Product Architecture

Caarvn was built to eliminate urban commuting friction by pairing drivers with extra seat capacity with passengers heading along identical travel corridors. We took full ownership of the product lifecycle—shaping user flows, defining transaction safety guarantees, designing system contracts, and delivering a battle-tested infrastructure ready for production traffic.

02 / Core Engineering Pillars

Mobile App & State Architecture
Developed with Flutter using BLoC state management to guarantee predictable state transitions across complex ride lifecycles. Features OTP phone authentication, JWT session persistence, and smooth location discovery powered by OpenStreetMap services.
Trust, Safety & Verification
Integrated secure government ID and driving license upload workflows using encrypted AWS S3 storage. Enforced multi-tier vehicle registration, passenger check-in tokens, and post-ride rating loops for platform safety.
High-Concurrency Backend
Built with Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL using Prisma ORM. Redis caching powers high-speed session handling and rate limiting, while transactional locks prevent double-booking and race conditions during simultaneous seat reservations.
AWS Production Deployment
Architected and deployed on AWS EC2 behind an Nginx reverse proxy with HTTPS/SSL, PM2 process management, automated background ride-lifecycle schedulers, push notifications, and production error tracking.

03 / Platform Engineering Checklist

Every layer of the Caarvn platform was built with strict production requirements, security checks, and edge-case handling:
